Painting         Admittedly, I lack some of the technical skills one would hope to find in a painter.

So it goes. About the age of forty, I began to paint. I find it pleasing (far better than mowing the lawn or fixing the sink) and it's my idea of a weekend garage activity. I paint the same three paintings over and over. One is the Jane series:   an 8x6 grid of squares (which is the same format shared by the DOS art efforts). The second, Diagonal Blue Line, is a diagonal line (occasionally blue) with a square in the lower left and a circle in the upper right. The last are landscapes in the most simple terms:   three stacked rectangles:   foreground, middle-ground, background. Images placed on a two-dimensional, rectangular surface.

All aspects of all three forms are negotiable. Brushwork is discouraged. String is not, as is the putty knife. Links marked with (d) also include alternate, digital versions. Links marked with (t) also include a thumbnail page.
